Contract: 1 year, full-time
Based: Dublin, Cork or Galway

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Digital Marketing Executive will have the exciting task of taking our digital brand to the next level in 2023. They will be responsible for delivering a new digital marketing strategy and managing our five social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) as well as updates to our website. They will also be responsible for coordinating and implementing our marketing communications activities across all channels, including media relations, events, and others.

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the Digital Marketing Executive will play a critical role as we drive the brand to the next stage of development and aim to raise the organisation’s profile significantly in 2023.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to and drive Rethink Ireland’s Digital Marketing Strategy & overall Marketing Strategy for 2023
• In collaboration with our donors and other stakeholders, implement communications plans for each of our Funds – including events, PR activities, social media, and production of branded collateral
• Manage the organisation’s social media accounts and create monthly content calendars in collaboration with the wider team
• Work closely with our Portfolio Management Team to capture and spread the amazing stories of Rethink Ireland and our Awardees
• Create and deliver compelling content for our website & keep up to date
• Liaise with the Business Development team to maximise our use of Salesforce & Campaign Monitor and create regular targeted email campaigns for all audiences
• Analyse and report on social media and website performance, providing recommendations for improvement
• Manage relationships with all suppliers including PR and event agencies
• Other duties as assigned

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You may come from the non-profit or private sector but you will have worked in a fast-paced environment which required creativity, laughter, and a ruthless ability to meet deadlines. We are looking for someone with digital experience who is collaborative and excellent at managing relationships both internal and external.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• At least two years of experience in a Digital Marketing or Marketing role
• Experience in content creation
• Demonstrated communication and organisational skills, including the ability to work to deadlines/ targets
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices, lead generation, and email marketing
• Proven ability to pick up a project and run with it – be a self-starter
• Excellent organisation and project management skills, while being able to keep up with the stakeholders’ expectations
• Consistent excellence in verbal & written communications in English – the ability to write effectively and persuasively is a must
• Third-level qualification at Bachelor’s level, desirable but not required
