Jessica is a Senior Fund Manager and Head of Education and Health at Rethink Ireland.
She graduated with an M.A. in Drama and Theatre from NUI, Galway following undergraduate studies in Speech and Language Therapy in the UK. Jessica also completed an MSc in Mental Health Recovery and Social Inclusion with the University of Hertfordshire. She has worked in the education, disability, arts and community development sectors in Ireland creating local and strategic partnerships to develop innovative ways to effect positive social change.
Jessica is an Advanced Level WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) trainer, has worked in a voluntary capacity with Advancing Recovery Ireland and trained as a Mental Health First Aid Trainer with NHS Scotland. Her work is underpinned by her study of optimism, social role valorisation theory, community development and social outcomes as well as the values that underpin the recovery philosophy.
Jessica is based in county Galway and loves to occasionally dip her toe in the Atlantic.
