Agnes O Shaughnessy is Head of Social Enterprise & Fund Manager at Rethink Ireland.

Agnes brings 16 years’ experience in community and rural development in County Clare, where she worked extensively within and managing the delivery of the LEADER programme. Through this work she supported local enterprises, Social Enterprises & community organisations from idea stage to delivery of projects to innovate and deliver meaningful local impact. She is ACCA CAT qualified, bringing strong financial and governance expertise to her role.

Agnes is passionate about social enterprise as a vehicle for change and believes in the power of locally rooted solutions to address social and economic and environmental challenges.

She lives in County Clare and enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling to explore other destinations.
