Clare Allen

Clare is a Fund Manager at Rethink Ireland.

Clare worked in Marketing for many years with large multinational organisations before setting up her own agency for small business owners, focused on green communications. The Social Impact space appealed to her and she worked with an Education NGO in Ireland. Clare also sits on the Board of a Women’s Refuge.

Clare has a BSc in Equine Science from UL, Diploma in Fundamentals of Finance and Accounting and is undergoing a Postgraduate in Sustainability Leadership in Business.

In her spare time, Clare can be found anywhere on the globe (and probably with an animal), practicing yoga, up a mountain, in the sea, running, and/or on a bike.

Valentina Pasinato

Valentina is Social Impact Executive at Rethink Ireland.

Valentina has a background in International Relations and Emergency Pedagogy. She has worked with a different set of social impact organizations aiming to support vulnerable communities. Prior to working at Rethink Ireland, she spent some time in the NGO sector in Greece working with tech education for Refugees as she managed EU-funded projects.

Valentina loves travelling, going to live concerts and reading books.

Caroline Boyd

Caroline is a Social Impact Analyst at Rethink Ireland.

After graduating from TCD with an M.Phil in Digital Humanities, Caroline spent several years working in the areas of digital transformation and innovation across the technology, finance, education and third sectors in both London and Dublin. She is passionate about people-centred problem solving and creating positive societal impact.

In her spare time she can be found practicing yoga, attempting amateur DIY, and going for walks with Lolly the greyhound.

He has 18+ years’ experience in internal audit, accounting and finance, grants management, compliance, fundraising and campaigning for Local and International Humanitarian NGOs and commercial sectors in Ireland, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Zhuwau is a soccer and music fan.

Ciara O’Neill

Ciara is Finance Director at Rethink Ireland with responsibility for Finance, HR, Legal, and Governance.

She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and also has an MSc in the Management and Application of IT in Accounting. Having trained in Deloitte, Ciara has worked with a number of organisations across the private, commercial semi-state and not for profit sectors including Irish Intercontinental Bank, National Learning Network Ltd, An Post and Concern Worldwide. She has built up a broad knowledge and wide range of experience leading finance teams, implementing continuous improvements and delivering results.

In her spare time, Ciara is an avid music fan and goes to lots of gigs and festivals both in Ireland and abroad.

Órán Duffy

Órán is a Social Impact Analyst at Rethink Ireland. 

From west Cavan, Órán spent a number of years studying and working in DCU. He received his Bachelor’s in Finance there, a Masters Degree in Strategic Management, and also worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Business School. It was during this time that he discovered a keen interest in social enterprise. 

Órán spends a lot of time playing football with his local club, Templeport GAA. In between training and games, you’ll probably find him trying to recover in one of the 365 lakes in Cavan.

Matthew Ryan

Matthew is an Accounts Analyst at Rethink Ireland.

Matthew studied theology in the USA, earning his BA, MA, and MDiv degrees. He has a Certificate for Accounting Technician and is in the process of completing his full qualification for membership with Accounting Technicians Ireland. He has previously worked as a lecturer, administrator, and a project manager with several educational institutions and an educational publishing company. Matthew’s desire to improve people’s lives has led him to volunteer with many community projects throughout the years, sometimes taking him as far afield as Kenya and Myanmar.

In his spare time, Matthew enjoys a thought-provoking podcast or audiobook, being enveloped in the music of film scores, and the challenge of strategy games.

Korina Koler

Korina is PA to our CEO

Both here in Ireland and in her native Croatia, Korina previously held positions in the private sector as a team leader and office administrator. She has a certificate in Project Management, is wrapping up a course in Business Administration, and is enrolled in the third year of a BA degree in Business, Enterprise, and Community Development. Korina is deeply committed to promoting diversity, equality, and community development.

Korina enjoys spending her free time with her three kids and her friends. She also enjoys swimming in the cold Irish Sea and boxing.

Orlaith Cuddihy

Orlaith is a Social Impact Analyst at Rethink Ireland. 

Originally from Limerick, Orlaith is a graduate of Mary Immaculate College with a BA in Liberal Arts where she focused on Media & Communications and History. Upon completion of her degree, she took her BHS examinations to qualify as an equestrian instructor. She has dipped her toe into journalism and financial banking. She is passionate about rights to education and social justice.

In her spare time, Orlaith enjoys spending time with her 2 beloved dogs, Uno and Belle. She also loves exploring the countryside of North Cork on her horse Jaffa and visiting Inis Oirr with her family.

Alice Clifford

Alice is a Business Development Executive at Rethink Ireland.

Prior to entering the third sector, Alice worked as an architectural engineer both in London and in West Cork, where she permanently relocated in 2017. Alice stumbled into the world of social enterprise through work on a project in her own community, which she took through the Social Impact Ireland Incubator in 2019. Needless to say, she hasn’t looked back, and has since continued to lead this project whilst working in non-profit consulting, with a focus on strategic planning and fundraising.

Alice holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Bristol, a Certificate of Higher Education in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Politics and Economics, and a ‘Best Cakemaker 2019’ award from her swim club, the Lough Ine Lappers.

When not working, Alice can generally be found in a field with her donkeys and miniature ponies, up a hill with her dog Roo, or on a beach with a seal pup, as part of her voluntary role with Seal Rescue Ireland. Alice promises that she has human friends, too.
