John Hannon

John is the Financial Accountant at Rethink Ireland.

John qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 1985, and has worked in Industry for most of his career. He most recently spent 22 years with the pharmaceutical company Viatris, as Financial Controller in their Dublin manufacturing site, and also as Finance Support to the Global Supply Chain organization.

John is passionate about sport, and has coached soccer for many years. His current obsession is helping out with junior golfers.

In his time off, he plays golf and occasionally tries to paddle board.

Samuel Sunday

Samuel is a Social Impact Analyst with Rethink Ireland.

Samuel has a MSc. in Data Analytics from Technology University of the Shannon. He has over five years of experience in research, monitoring, and evaluation with international non-profits in Nigeria. He has worked across diverse themes, including economic development, health, and equality.

Samuel loves singing and in his spare time he enjoys hiking.

Erika Nordbring O’Regan

Erika is the Digital Marketing Executive at Rethink Ireland.

Originally from Sweden, Erika has a Bachelor from Universty of Gothenburg in Media and Communication studies. Prior to Rethink Ireland she was working for a local charity in Gothenburg called Raddningsmissionen which adressed societal issues like homelessness. While working there she built up their digital fundraising and also project managed their highly successful fundraising campaign for Giving Tuesday.

Erika loves all things creative so in her spare time she spends a lot of time on singing, photography and crafts. She also enjoys discovering more of Ireland’s beautiful nature.

Cate Fraedrich

Cate is a Fund Manager in Portfolio Management and Business Intelligence at Rethink Ireland.

Cate is an experienced manager with over 10 years in the banking industry in her home country Germany where she focused on projects, processes and outsourcing management. She has also spent two years in Rwanda where she supported the government and the SACCO sector with her financial sustainability expertise. This period has deepened her interest in the third sector and in social entrepreneurship.

Cate holds a BA in International Management and Business Management and completed her MSc in International Public Policy and Diplomacy in UCC.

In her spare time, Cate loves traveling through Ireland. She has fallen in love with the country, it’s people and culture. She also likes reading books from around the world.

Niamh Moriarty

Niamh is a Social Impact Analyst at Rethink Ireland.

Originally from Kerry, Niamh is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin with a BA in PPES (Joint Hons, Political Science and Sociology), with a research interest in social and economic inequality as they relate to legal, political, economic, and social institutions.

Niamh is passionate about mental health literacy & accessibility and political activism. Prior to joining Rethink Ireland, Niamh worked as an analyst for a non-profit consultancy firm, where she helped to design and deliver strategic fundraising plans for a variety of organisations across the sector, as well as
working as a Research Assistant for Science Gallery Dublin, where they assisted on three EU Horizon2020 projects.

In their spare time, Niamh enjoys playing guitar, going for hikes, and learning new recipes to
add to an ever-expanding culinary repertoire.

Debbie Tierney

Debbie is a Social Impact Executive at Rethink Ireland.

Debbie has a Higher National Diploma in Print Journalism and has completed a Postgraduate Certificate with Trinity College Dublin in Business Development and Innovation.

Prior to joining Rethink Ireland, Debbie was involved in the third sector for over a decade through volunteering with community development projects, co-founding a social enterprise and most recently as Business Development Officer with Triest Press CLG.

Originally from Dublin, Debbie has lived in Co. Roscommon for 16 years and has a passion for social justice. In her spare time, she enjoys live music, travelling and trying to fit as many plants as possible into her home.

Tara Chaussalet

Tara is a Programmes Executive at Rethink Ireland.

Tara has a BA in Sustainability and Spanish from the University of Exeter, where she also spent a year studying in Mexico and working with Slow Food Mexico on local food system projects with indigenous communities in Oaxaca and Chiapas. 

Her passion for societal issues has developed through working and volunteering with organisations in the charity sector in the UK and internationally. This has included opening a community fridge in her local town funded by Hubbub, and holding corporations accountable for their financial investment in tropical deforestation through the Forest 500 assessments.

In her spare time she can be found cooking, spending time outdoors or seeing live music. She also loves to travel, learn languages and try new hobbies.

Anthony Mills

Anthony is a Business Development Manager at Rethink Ireland.

Prior to joining Rethink Ireland, Anthony worked the last 10+ years in the private sector and tech industry leading teams in sales. The Social Impact element appealed to him whilst working with clients in previous roles which led him to joining Rethink Ireland.

Anthony has a passion for breaking down barriers and tackling social issues to make things more equal.

Outside of work, Anthony loves travelling with his family. Other than travelling Anthony can be found either – running, playing football, tennis or snooker and if you can’t find him there, he will probably be watching one of the above.

Clare Allen

Clare is a Fund Manager at Rethink Ireland.

Clare worked in Marketing for many years with large multinational organisations before setting up her own agency for small business owners, focused on green communications. The Social Impact space appealed to her and she worked with an Education NGO in Ireland. Clare also sits on the Board of a Women’s Refuge.

Clare has a BSc in Equine Science from UL, Diploma in Fundamentals of Finance and Accounting and is undergoing a Postgraduate in Sustainability Leadership in Business.

In her spare time, Clare can be found anywhere on the globe (and probably with an animal), practicing yoga, up a mountain, in the sea, running, and/or on a bike.

Valentina Pasinato

Valentina is Social Impact Executive at Rethink Ireland.

Valentina has a background in International Relations and Emergency Pedagogy. She has worked with a different set of social impact organizations aiming to support vulnerable communities. Prior to working at Rethink Ireland, she spent some time in the NGO sector in Greece working with tech education for Refugees as she managed EU-funded projects.

Valentina loves travelling, going to live concerts and reading books.
