Tara is a Programmes Executive at Rethink Ireland.
Tara has a BA in Sustainability and Spanish from the University of Exeter, where she also spent a year studying in Mexico and working with Slow Food Mexico on local food system projects with indigenous communities in Oaxaca and Chiapas.
Her passion for societal issues has developed through working and volunteering with organisations in the charity sector in the UK and internationally. This has included opening a community fridge in her local town funded by Hubbub, and holding corporations accountable for their financial investment in tropical deforestation through the Forest 500 assessments.
In her spare time she can be found cooking, spending time outdoors or seeing live music. She also loves to travel, learn languages and try new hobbies.
