Alison is the Head of Impact Management & Learning in Operations at Rethink Ireland.

Alison started her career as a nurse in international public health. Following her masters in Demography and Health from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, she moved into monitoring, evaluation, research and learning work in the sexual and reproductive health and rights sector.

Her professional interest is in the space where traditional evaluation methods meet the more participatory, person-centred approaches used in social innovation and design, which better enable the voice and experience of end-users to determine impact and guide decision-making.

Outside of work, Alison enjoys (mildly) competitive swimming, Latin dance and hanging out with the kids and the dog.
