Rethink Ireland seeks and supports socially innovative solutions which offer equal opportunities to education for all citizens. We recognise the interconnected or intersectional nature of race, socio-economic status, gender and health and their relationship to discrimination and disadvantage. As such, we understand that standard formal education may not work for all groups of people.
We have invested €36.9 million in education since 2016, supporting 127 projects with a reach of at least 651,000 people. Through these innovative solutions, we aim to address educational gaps in Irish society.
